The new exhibition theme for the academic year at the library is "Imagining Legends and Futures: Here Comes the Yokai!" It explores folklore from various cultures, examining how ancestors faced challenges and imagined the world. The exhibition extends to attitudes, thinking, and layout for future generations embracing technology. Located on the ground floor, it features relevant books and exhibits. Continuing last year's dynamic format, the exhibition will expand its collection and plan theme-related activities. Faculty and students are invited to visit and participate in interactive elements. The exhibition runs until the end of the first semester of the 108th academic year.
The library's exhibition is structured around three main themes: "Legends and Yokai Reading Map," "Modern Mythmaking," and "Future and Imagination." "Legends and Yokai Reading Map" explores myths from different regions. "Modern Mythmaking" showcases contemporary creations of imaginary worlds. "Future and Imagination" expresses limitless possibilities through imaginative futures. The exhibition also features smaller thematic areas focusing on Taiwanese yokai, Japanese yokai, and fantasy literature, organized around three central pillars.
