LIbrary Collections
After the implementation of the ALMA system, the library has been able to present a more diverse range of collections through a system that supports various cataloging formats. This allows more collections to be not only searched but also displayed. Readers can more intuitively understand the types of resources available in hospitality research.
Additionally, the “Library collection” has surpassed previous exhibition limitations. By creating different themed book lists, readers can gain a better understanding of the exhibitions and the themed book lists behind them. The library strives to increase readers' interest in reading by setting up thematic book exhibitions that complement the exhibitions.
Our school's teaching and research are centered on hospitality. To enhance students' understanding of culinary topics outside the classroom, the library has curated three themed collections: "The Culinary Landscape of the Library", "Asian Cuisine" ,and "Good Food Choices". These collections introduce campus readers to a wide range of topics, from the knowledge system of gastronomy to geographic and sustainability-related issues, through the library's resources.
The library has always been dedicated to promoting reading. By creating themed collections such as "Let's Read Together" and "Fantasy Literature", it aims to spark readers' interest in reading.
The library compiles various types of specialized collections, including core hospitality journals, case studies, databases, and language learning resources, to support the school's teaching and research needs.
